Lisa began teaching in 1983, later founding Learning Link Technologies, the Harp Learning Institute learning centers in Northern California, Bravo! Reading, and the Harp Learning Academy.
Through all these avenues, she has helped tens of thousands of children reach grade level success or higher. She has the ability to pinpoint learning issues and discrepancies, coming up with quick, clean solutions for helping kids overcome them.

Lisa covers all subjects in Lessons with Lisa, not just reading. She not only has teaching experience but has extensive training and experience in visual therapy, and brain integration therapy. In addition, her teaching experience ranges from grades kindergarten through twelfth grade.
Through Lessons with Lisa, she acts as your guide, helping your child or student’s learning and reading issues through practical advice, specific activities, and innovative strategies that she’s used in over forty years as an educator to take struggling learners and turn them into successful students!
In addition, Lisa is the parent of a child with dyslexia, ADD, and auditory processing issues. After going on a “mother mission” to help him overcome these learning challenges, he became an honor student within a year!
