About Us
Learn the history of Bravo! Reading and its founder, Lisa Harp. Bravo! Reading helps kids with dyslexia learn to decode through activities that they intrinsically understand and resonate with – not the other way around. Through movement, color, pictures, auditory cues, visual cues, brain-based learning, predictability, and a multisensory approach, your child makes strides in reading because reading makes sense.
Guessing at words, memorizing words, and trial and error reading go by the wayside when your child learns Bravo! decoding strategies in a fun, easy way!

Nathan’s Story
Read the heart warming story of Lisa’s son, Nathan, and the journey to take him from a struggling reader to an honor student – all within one year!
Nathan was diagnosed with dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, and significant auditory processing problems. Even though she was a teacher, Lisa had no way to help him, as in the early 1990’s, there wasn’t a lot available. Lisa developed reading and learning activities that a child with dyslexia could use and understand. From there, she’s gone on to help tens of thousands of students overcome reading issues like dyslexia.
